My name is Katharina Brassat and I am currently working as a materials scientist at Paderborn University, Germany. I am a 
chemist by education and received my PhD in physics in 2018. Since then, I am involved in material science doing interdisciplinary research on the design of material surfaces as part of the ‚Nanostructuring, Nanoanalysis and Photonic materials‘ group of Prof. Jörg Lindner.
From 2021, I will start a new career in intellectual property rights becoming a patent attorney.
